Portuguese born and Genevan native, JoweL made his stage debut as a percussionist in 2006, combining tribal rhythms and techno.
His passion for music soon led him to mix his own selections, first at l’Aiglon, a mythical hub in Geneva's alternative scene. He also performed in various clubs, such as Silencio, la Ruche, Baby Boa, and L'Audio. Eventually, he joined and performed for SocialSound, a collective that organizes events in Switzerland and Spain.
Today, JoweL resides at Weetamix, a techno temple, where he shared the decks with numerous artists like Luciano, San Proper, Julien Chaptal and Marco Resman. From minimal techno to house, he delivers sharp, sexy, and groovy beats that leaves no soul untouched.
